Warranty policy and Refund agreement policy

The following is a clear definitions explaining our terms, conditions and our refund policy, which you have agreed to by making a purchase from us.

Dear Customer

Here At PCTrader Computer Solutions ZA all our products are tested to make sure they are working and will
work for you as intended. Our products go through 3 days to 7 weeks of testing to detect any issue.
However we as people do make mistakes at times. We assume that you are aware of what you are purchasing and all the information and pictures of products are available on our store. All our Laptops and notebooks come with a, 1 Year Warranty, Windows Activated, Microsoft Office Activated and Adobe Reader (optional). You may have also booked an appointment to check out any items you are interested in or you have seen the items online and fully understood what it is your purchasing from us.

All the information of our products is available online. By making a purchase you must have known exactly
what you are buying and if it will work well for your work/school or anything you wish. It is your sole duty to check and research that the item you want to purchase is suitable for you and your needs.
If you discover any issues with the items purchased within 2 days due to our negligence, we will resolve
the issue for free. However you will be charged for any repairs if the issue is caused by you due to your negligence or any external factors/elements e.g. any virus installed on your system by you or someone else that leads to any
software issue, Hardware failure, Windows reinstallation and such.
We are not liable for any hardware faults/physical damage or any damage caused by you or any external
factors like water damage, electricity/load shedding, humidity due to storage conditions e.t.c. If you damage the item you will pay for any repairs or be offered a trade deal with available items within your budget and make up the difference with money.

 

REFUND POLICY

Refunds should be requested within 7 days of purchase and are subjected to a 20% fee deducted from the
original purchase amount. Refunds can take 2-4 business days to process and in some cases may take longer. Items should be in original condition of purchase to qualify for a refund. Items that passed the original refund period and have been damaged by client are not eligible for a refund but can be valued and resold but to us. We will value and make an official offer on the items which is then accepted or declined by the individual. The 20% fee is applicable as the product being refunded could have been bought by someone else on our store, as well as the delivery fee, banking/transaction fee and taxes if any and is non-negotiable.

 

 

VOIDING THE WARRANTY

The 1-year warranty becomes void if you do the following to any of the products you bought from us, change the windows that came with the laptop which might change the performance ( make is slower or faster),
ram and hard drive or SSD tampering, changing, upgrading or downgrading components as such is not recommended (the serial numbers are kept in our database and our screens are marked so they can be identified), Opening the laptop for whatever reasons or intentionally damaging the device in order to solicit a trade/refund.

You must’ve fully
understood what your buying and what the hardware is capable of and if it will work for your work or
school and whatever you plan on doing. All laptops brought back in are checked for  2 to 4 working days if the
hardware has been tempered with and if the software installed was installed by us or reinstalled. If found that the
hardware/software was tempered with, the device is sent back to you as your warranty became void by
doing so. If you wish to upgrade/downgrade the windows or any hardware or open the device, do so knowing your warranty becomes void. We do not offer lessons on how to use computers or any software.
